Sweden is preparing CB90 boats, missiles for RBS70 MANPADS and ammunition for CV90 for Ukraine
The Swedish government has finalized a new military aid package to Ukraine worth SEK 4.6 billion.
Aftonbladet reported on this with reference to the Swedish Defense Minister Paul Johnson.
“We will move more and more from free aid from defense stockpiles to production so that Ukraine can benefit from this new,” Jonson says.
The package includes six CB90 fast assault craft in addition to the ten announced in February 2024.
In addition to the boats, the new package includes the purchase of missiles for RBS70 air defense systems and ammunition for CV90 IFVs.
Sweden has recently joined the Demining Coalition and will financially support Ukraine to carry out demining work as soon as possible.
In addition, the government has promised to make its own contribution of €5 million to help Ukraine with demining operations over large areas.
