The Russian military conducted an unsuccessful attack near the village of Stepove in the Avdiivka direction.

The Ukrainian military from the Khorne Group unit reported that the battle took place on December 5.

The Russian command deployed several armored personnel carriers and infantry to attack.

As a result, the Russian invaders did not manage to even reach the Ukrainian positions and were defeated.

“The Russians once again tried to attack and carry out assault actions, but this assault attempt was special since they could not even reach our infantry position,” the Ukrainian military with the call sign “Lifter” shared.

The invasion forces were stopped with the help of FPV drones and Ukrainian artillery.

“The result of the Russian attack is a loss of 4 armored vehicles and up to 40 enemy manpower. A lot of stupid skulls went to the throne today,” the military noted.

The released video captures the eliminated Russian military and two destroyed MT-LB armored personnel carriers from a drone.

“One armored vehicle propped up another and did not allow the troops to leave the armored personnel carrier in time,” the military said.

Russian invasion forces are trying to capture the village of Stepove, northwest of Avdiyivka, to cut off the logistics of the Ukrainian military.

Now fierce fighting continues throughout the front line around Avdiyivka. The invaders are pressing, trying to find spars in the defense line of Ukraine. Despite all, the village remains under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
