Two oil storage depots in Russia’s city of Bryansk catch fire
A fire has broken out at an oil depot in Bryansk, Russia. Residents say it was preceded by the explosions.

According to the preliminary data, a fire broke out on the territory of the local oil depot – now tanks for storage of oil or fuel materials are burning, Russian media write.
Allegedly, the explosions have simultaneously occurred at the bases of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (53.218026,34.446157) and Rosneft (53.225896,34.457019).
Firefighters were notified of the fire at 2 a.m. local time. The fire was assessed at a higher rank.
“At 02:00 am on April 25, 2022, the operational shift on duty at the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Bryansk region received a report of a fire at the following address: Bryansk, Fokinsky district, Moskovsky ave.
Fire and rescue services for the fire with increased rank were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, it was established that there was a fire on the territory of the oil depot,” said the statement with reference to the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia.
There are no further details at the moment.
On social networks, the Russians have reported that residents of Bryansk heard explosions, and later there was a fire at the oil depot. Residents of houses adjacent to the oil depot started to be evacuated.
Bryansk region borders Ukraine, and the city itself is located at a distance of over 100 km away from the border.
It should be noted that this is not the first fire at an oil depot in Russia since the beginning of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Previously, on April 1, in the Russian city of Belgorod, which is located near the border with Ukraine, explosions and a large fire at the oil depot were reported.
