Ukraine received Bulgarian SPG-9 “Warrior”

Bulgarian SPG-9 “Warrior” anti-tank grenade launchers entered service with the Ukrainian servicemen.

The photo with the Bulgarian weapon was released by soldiers of the Ukrainian foreign unit “Norman Brigade”.

The grenade launcher is designed to destroy tanks, self-propelled artillery and other armored targets, as well as enemy manpower and firepower.

It is unknown at this time whether this is free assistance from the Bulgarian government or a direct purchase from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. It was recently announced that Bulgaria will not provide Ukraine with heavy weapons.

In the released photos with the Ukrainian servicemen SPG-9 “Warrior” are equipped with the PGDN-7 VIR night vision sights.

These sights are offered for sale by the Bulgarian company BULARMAS LTD.

Currently, BULARMAS LTD is the sole owner of European and international patent rights for the production of SPG-9 “Warrior” and RPG-7 “Warrior”.

The company also produces spare parts for SPG and other equipment: PGO-7V3 optical sight; PGO-7W4 optical sight; PGDN-7VIR sight day / night digital; PGDN-9TV sight thermal imaging.

Also, the Bulgarian company offers for sale SPG-9 with remote control – SPG-9-RCWS.

In addition to grenade launchers, the BULARMAS LTD manufactures ammunition for its products.

Probably, the Armed Forces of Ukraine also received Bulgarian ammunition for anti-tank grenade launchers.
