Ukrainian troops destroyed the Msta-S self-propelled howitzer of the Russian invaders in the Donetsk region.

The defenders showed a video of the enemy’s defeat on a Telegram.

The Russian Msta-S was destroyed by an FPV drone operated by the FPV Drone Group “Muramasa” of the 109th Territorial Defense Brigade.

Initially, the self-propelled howitzer was hit by a single drone, but did not suffer significant damage. And that’s why the Russian crew decided to abandon their position.

However, as it was moving, the Russian Msta-S was caught up by a Ukrainian heavy-lift FPV drone and hit.

After the drone hit, the ammunition inside the enemy artillery unit detonated instantly. The powerful explosion completely destroyed the howitzer and the crew inside.

“Another target has been destroyed, sending all the crew members of the 2S19 Msta-S to hell,” the FPV Drone Group “Muramasa” emphasized.

Observers monitoring the course of hostilities found out that a Russian self-propelled howitzer had been destroyed near Vasylivka, Donetsk region.

It is worth noting that the Russian invasion forces lost a significant number of 152-mm Msta-S self-propelled howitzers in May-April.

During this time, the Ukrainian military and the Russian invaders released videos and photos of at least 9 such destroyed howitzers.

The main means of destruction were FPV drones with a powerful warhead.

Kamikaze drone strikes mostly resulted in the detonation of ammunition, the powerful explosion of which destroyed the howitzer and its crew.
