Ukrainian-made UNITS training system is approved for use in Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codified and authorized the use of the UNITS interactive training system in the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
It was developed by the Ukrainian engineers and is designed for individual and group training in firearms training for military personnel.
The press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported on this.
It is noted that during the classes at this virtual shooting range, models of several dozens of small arms, grenade launchers, ATGMs, etc. can be used.
The UNITS interactive training system is mobile, so it can be quickly deployed at the chosen location if necessary.
When simulating a fire drill on the simulator, it is possible to choose the type of terrain.
For military training, in particular, you can choose: city buildings, forest, field, etc.
The software also models the target environment, weather conditions, and time of day.
The Ministry of Defense said that the UNITS could be used to practice both basic shooting skills: correct stance, breathing, holding the weapon, aiming, smooth trigger, and a wide range of situational fire exercises.
The training system was created by the Ukrainian company Logics7, which has also developed the simulators of various weapons: assault rifles, grenade launchers, anti-tank missile systems, portable anti-aircraft missile systems, and anti-tank guided missiles, which are needed to train the military.
Such simulators allow the Ukrainian soldiers to train quickly and effectively without spending money on real ammunition.
On November 1, the General Staff introduced a new basic military training program in all training centers of the Ground Forces, which was extended to 45 days.
