Ukrainian troops defeated Russian offensive armored group in Kharkiv region
The Ukrainian military defeated one of the Russian armored groups that tried to occupy part of the Kharkiv region.
For this purpose, the Russian command is currently throwing dozens of pieces of equipment and hundreds of its soldiers into the battle to assault.
Every day, active clashes erupt in the Kharkiv region. Battles feature tanks, airplanes, cannon fire, and other weapons.
“Equipment is burning in large quantities, and there is nothing to say about the number of Russians killed and wounded. And all these heavy battles are not for Kupiansk itself or even for the villages near it. Meat assaults can last for weeks just for a small piece of land,” said the Ukrainian soldier in the Telegram group Gostri Kartuzy.
The military added that the Russians are putting a lot of their lives and resources into getting 300 meters down and gaining a foothold.
“Unfortunately, the lives of our soldiers who are bravely defending our country are also being taken,” the military added.
The Telegram group showed the destroyed equipment of the Russian invaders, as well as the liquidated Russian soldiers.
In particular, the photos show a significant number of BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles.
The Ukrainian military also neutralized T-72B3 tanks, a purely Russian modernization of the T-72 tank.
One of the most active battles in Kharkiv region plays out in the area between Yahidne and Ivanivka settlements.
Russian forces have been trying to capture the Ivanivka village for a long time and have already suffered significant losses in failed assaults.
According to the Ukrainian General Staff, on November 1, in the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Joint Forces Operation Center in the Kupiansk direction, the Russian army conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Sinkivka, Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region, and Nadia in the Luhansk region, where Ukrainian defenders repelled more than 10 Russian attacks.
