Ukrainian troops destroyed Russian assault group in Serebryansky forest

Several Ukrainian soldiers fought an unequal battle with an assault group of Russians in the trenches, but thanks to attack drones, the invaders were neutralized.

The video of the destruction of the Russian invaders was released by the press service of the 63rd Mechanized Brigade.

The defenders held their positions in the Luhansk region near the Serebryansky forest, where soldiers of various Ukrainian units had been holding the defense line since the end of summer 2022.

The brigade’s press service said that the Ukrainian positions had been held by several soldiers of the 115th Brigade’s rifle battalion as part of the 63rd Mechanized Brigade.

And the operators of the battalion’s FPV drones attacked the Russian infantry who were already in the trenches and trying to capture a dugout with Ukrainians in it.

“We did not surrender, we did not retreat! Several of our soldiers fought an unequal battle against the Russian soldiers, who had already entered the trenches,” the brigade emphasized.

Thanks to successful drone strikes, the assault group of the Russian invaders was eliminated.

After that, the Ukrainian infantrymen came out of hiding and cleared the trenches.

“Thanks to the efforts of the drones of the Unmanned Systems Battalion and the resilience of the courageous infantry of the 115th Brigade’s rifle battalion as part of the 63rd Mechanized Brigade, a dozen of Russian invaders turned into a pile of fried meat,” the press service of the Mechanized Brigade said.

Since the end of summer 2022, the Serebrianskyi forest has been a defense line held by fighters from various Ukrainian units. Among them, the 12th Special Operations Brigade “Azov” has been fighting there in recent months.

Fierce fighting continues daily in the Serebryansky forest and the surrounding area with the use of all available weapons.

Therefore, mostly charred and partially felled tree trunks remained from the large forest there. This was caused by constant artillery shelling and explosions of Russian bombs, which the Russian invaders are trying to counteract the Ukrainian defenders with.
