The Ukrainian military received automatic grenade launchers, pickup trucks, drones, and electronic warfare devices as part of the Zbroienostsi (Squires – Ed.) project from the Come Back Alive Foundation and the Lviv City Council.

The press service of the foundation announced this.

This is just a part of the weapons and equipment that will be transferred to four combat brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under the project.

“The ‘Squires’ have united and made sure that the amount of money raised has crossed UAH 160 million! And despite the fact that the fundraising is still ongoing, the first part of the purchased weapons and equipment has already been delivered to the soldiers,” the foundation said.

Namely, it was sent to the front line:

  • 40 Mk 19 automatic easel mounted grenade launchers
  • 40 pickup trucks
  • 40 electronic warfare devices;
  • 100 DJI Mavic 3 drones;
  • 140 DJI Mavic 3T thermal imaging drones.

It is noted that part of that had been purchased thanks to the Lviv City Council, which had allocated more than UAH 100,000,000 for the purchase.

“This is an important precedent for cooperation. As a city, we have a program to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but we do not have the right to buy weapons. It is thanks to this synergy that we will be able to provide our military with weapons,” said Andrii Moskalenko, First Deputy Mayor of Lviv.

The project

For the full implementation of the Zbroienostsi (Squires – Ed.) project, another UAH 40 million needs to be raised.

Therefore, the Come Back Alive Foundation called on those who care to support the fundraiser, which is intended to help the Ukrainian army in confronting the Russian invaders.

Weapons will be supplied to:

  • 24th “Daniel of Galicia” Mechanized Brigade;
  • 80th Separate Galician Air Assault Brigade;
  • 68th “Oleksa Dovbush” Jaeger Brigade;
  • 128th Mountain Assault Brigade.

In addition to pickup trucks, drones, automatic grenade launchers, and electronic warfare equipment, the Ukrainian military plans to purchase 120 mm and 82 mm mortars.

Previously, the Come Back Alive Foundation, together with OKKO filling stations, handed over the latest Pulstron reconnaissance and destruction system to the Air Assault Forces.
