Unknown Weapon Strikes Russian Military Base in Bryansk Region
In the Bryansk oblast, an unknown type of weapon struck a Russian military base and destroyed one of the buildings.
The moment of the hit was filmed by a Russian soldier, whose video was posted on the Exilenova Telegram channel.
The targeted military base, designated No. 23857, is located near the village of Pochep.
In the video, a Russian soldier captured a distinctive noise resembling the sound of a jet engine.
It is possible that the military base was hit by a Ukrainian Palianytsia long-range drone missile.
The Palyanytsia was developed by Ukrainian specialists in the shortest possible time to create a response to Russia’s constant missile attacks.
Due to the secrecy of the product, the characteristics of the new long-range weapon are not disclosed.
However, it is noted that more than two dozen Russian airfields are within range of this missile.
The Palyanytsia is launched from the ground, and to achieve a long range, the drone missile is equipped with a turbojet engine, which in theory allows for thrust control to achieve the most economical flight speed.
In addition to airfields, Palianytsia is also able to strike military units, oil refineries, oil storage bases, stationary radars, etc.
The new product is reported to be much cheaper than alternatives, and efforts are underway to further reduce production costs by using alternative materials.
This approach will allow for the mass production of missiles and strengthen Ukraine’s long-range strike capability in this war and in the future.
