An anti-ship mine landed on the shore of one of the Zatoka’s beaches.

It was discovered by the border guards while patrolling the territory.

The press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported about this.

The explosive device was brought to the shore by the storm. Specialists neutralized the detected mine and showed a video of a controlled detonation.

“We draw the attention of all citizens that the coast is a line of defense. Therefore, do not expose yourself to danger, do not ignore air warning signals, do not approach suspicious objects and restricted access zones on the coast and in the border areas,” the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine stressed.

As previously reported, specialists of one of the enterprises of the Ukroboronprom State Concern created a prototype of a metal-burning product called SF-1. It resembles a pencil in shape.

It is noted that due to the exothermic powder mixture contained inside, the device effectively burns the metal shells of explosive objects, for example, ammunition.
