Come Back Alive Foundation to sign new agreements with Turkish Baykar

The Come Back Alive Foundation has already made arrangements for further cooperation with the Baykar.

Taras Chmut, Director of the Come Back Alive Foundation, stated this in an interview to Ukrayinska Pravda website.

He noted that the new agreements will differ from the previous ones, e.g. from the agreement on the purchase of the Bayraktar system implemented the day before.

“We already have an agreement. They are ready to supply us with what is needed under one of the agreements. In the future, I hope there will be several of them. Maybe they will be of a slightly different level,” Taras Chmut said.

He also noted that the arms market requires silence, so agreements can be announced upon their implementation.

On July 26, the Come Back Alive Foundation purchased the Bayraktar TB2 unmanned combat aerial system at a total cost of $16,502,450.

This regards an autonomous system that includes:

• air communication system;
• mobile ground control system;
• ground data terminal;
• identification system “friend-or-foe”;
• three strike drones;
• several dozen adjusted aviation ammunition;
• and other necessary ground equipment and spare parts.

The Come Back Alive Foundation and Baykar enterprise later signed a memorandum on further partnership. They didn’t disclose any details of future cooperation, but stressed that the two organizations agreed to implement best practices and international standards in their cooperation.

As previously reported, the RevengeFor.com project attracted more than UAH 2 million for the needs of the Come Back Alive Foundation in the first three weeks of its existence.
