The Ukrainian Special Forces “Kryla” (Wings, ua.) have created their own FPV “kamikaze drone” flotilla.

The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that this type of drones has become a truly revolutionary means of warfare.

These FPV (First Person View) drones were chosen since they collect intelligence well.

Furthermore, these converted drones are used as a controlled barrage munition at distances of up to 10 kilometers.

Installed cameras and modern communications equipment allow the operator to control the drone in real time while remaining at a safe distance.

This serves to save soldiers’ lives while also successfully destroying enemy equipment and personnel.

The DI`s special detachment, “Wings,” starts raising funds for the purchase of 1,000 FPV drones for the new strike unit.

“The project is being implemented in conjunction with the Starlife-Charity Charitable Foundation, which has helped various units of the Defense Intelligence since the start of the full-scale invasion and remains our reliable partner,” the intelligence representatives stated.

FPV (First Person View) drone operators are able to see all visuals transferred by drone. These UAVs with FPV functions have cost-effective versions that are fully affordable.

First Person View-copter is usually made like a high-speed sports device, but it is designed for more payload.

It is controlled exclusively by the control panel using the image of the heading camera.

The communication range can reach more than 2 kilometers, although when the altitude drops, the signal drops sharply (usually up to 500 meters). But at the same time, the Defence Intelligence says that their models are able to hit targets at a distance of up to 10 kilometers.
