Dozens of thousands of tons of ammunition exported from Belarus to Russia

Dozens of thousands of tons of ammunition have been exported from Belarus over the past seven months to the territory of Russia.

In the period from March to September 2022, ammunition of 65,089 tons of weight was exported by rail from Belarus to the Russian Federation.

Analysts monitoring the operation of the railway of Belarus report that such an amount of ammunition can be placed in 1940 vagons.

The maximum number was recorded in April 2022, being 22,534 tonnes (689 vagons) per month.

Then the Russian military exported its own shells from Yale, Kozenok, Rechitsa, Khoinikov and Kalinkovichi.

Then there was a slight decline, and from July the pace of removal went up again.

Ammunition for export to the Russian Federation was loaded at 20 different stations of the Belarusian Railway.

Amount of ammunition taken out by month:

  • for March 2022, 297 tons (26 wagons) were removed;
  • for April 2022, 22,534 tons (689 wagons) were removed;
  • for May 2022, 8,606 tons (200 wagons) were removed;
  • for June 2022, 6,033 tons (162 cars) were removed;
  • for July 2022, 6,750 tons (175 wagons) were removed;
  • for August 2022, 6,390 tons (246 wagons) were removed;
  • for September 2022, 14,479 tons (442 wagons) were removed.

It is noted that ammunition for export to the Russian Federation was loaded at the following stations: Novobilitskaya (312 tons); Hoiniki (103 tons); River (1078 tons); Dobrush (21,549 tons); Yelsk (56 tons); Goats (1236 tons); Kalinkovichi (235 tons); Vasilevichi (192 tons); Centrolite (13,323 tons); Lead (421 tons); Baranovichi-Polessky (608 tons); Luninets (1573 tons); Logs (54 tons); Beaver (1,459 tons); Zaslonovo (20 tons); Forest (7 tons); Armor Mountain (15,601 tons); Brest East (21 tons); Osipovichi-1 (7,241 ton).

The monitoring group has also noted that Lukashenko’s regime transfers not only ammunition to the Russian Federation, but also tanks and other equipment.

In the last few weeks alone, a minimum of 94 Т-72А tanks and 36-44 Urals trucks have been transferred.

At the same time, according to the Ukrainian border guards, Russia and Belarus are taking measures to escalate the situation on the border with Ukraine. Speaker of the State Border Guard Service Andrei Demchenko added that Ukraine is well aware that Russia is trying to draw Belarus into a full-scale war in every possible way.
