Explosions reported in Kursk, Russia

Explosions were reported in the city of Kursk in Russia.

Information about the incident was published in local Telegram channels.

Local residents reported the sounds of explosions heard near the airport and the railway station.

A video featuring the explosions was also released.

There is currently no information from local authorities regarding damage in Kursk.

As previously reported, on December 6, in the Russian city of Kursk, a fire near the airfield occurred.

The regional authorities declared a drone attack. An oil storage tank was on fire as a result of it.

Kursk East Airport is located in Kursk, Russia. It is a joint-base airfield used by both military and civilian aircraft.

Since February 24, when the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine began, this airfield does not serve civilian aircraft but is used for military purposes.
