FLYTECH discussed the capabilities of ARES UAV

Ukrainian FLYTECH company presented an ARES reconnaissance drone.

The Ukrainian military already uses the Ukrainian-made UAV, named after the god of war Ares, on the front lines.

According to the developers, ARES is an unmanned aerial vehicle at operational and tactical levels.

The flight time of this UAV is up to 150 minutes, the communication range reaches 50 kilometers, and it takes only 15 minutes to deploy the system.

ARES can be hand-launched and landed using the remote control.

The drone has multi-channel communication. This makes it possible to switch to backup channels without losing control if the enemy uses electronic warfare equipment that jams one of the frequencies.

FLYTECH shared that first, the UAVs were used only to meet the needs of a specific brigade. But after the ARES was used on the battlefield, they decided to launch mass production, which they managed to set up in less than six months.

It is noted that ARES is quite easy to repair and does not require much time for
production, which affects the cheaper price of UAVs compared to their analogs. However, the company does not disclose the exact costs.

ARES UAV systems are purchased by various charitable organizations and volunteer initiatives for the Ukrainian military.

FLYTECH soon plans to present the ARES 2 drone, which will be equipped with
a new communication system and an improved sensor.

The company is also working on an ARES 3 kamikaze UAV, the combat range of which will cover 30-40 kilometers.
