Head of Belarusian KGB: “We know about invasion plans from territory of Poland”

Belarusian authorities are aware of plans for the possible introduction of military contingents from Poland into the territory of their country.

This was stated by Ivan Tertel, head of the State Security Committee of Belarus.

He made this statement during a meeting with representatives of work communities in Mogilyov.

“It’s known about the 101st Airborne Division of the United State, which is partially already based on the territory of a neighboring state,” Tertel said.

At the same time, Igor Sergiyenko, head of the administration of the President of Belarus, said that the West wants to involve Belarus in the war. In his opinion, the West created the conditions for the biggest economic crisis through its actions.

Previously, the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said that Minsk received a warning through unofficial channels about an attack on Belarus from the territory of Ukraine.

“Yesterday, through unofficial channels, we were warned about an attack on Belarus from the territory of Ukraine. As stated: “We will make it so that it will be Crimean bridge-2″. My answer was simple: prove to the President of Ukraine and other crazy people that the Crimean bridge will seem like flowers to them if they touch even one meter of our territory with their dirty hands,” the Supreme Commander-in-Chief was quoted as saying by the,” Pool of the First” Telegram channel, which is close to Lukashenko’s press service.

In this regard, the Head of the Republic of Belarus announced that he will negotiate with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, on the deployment of a joint regional grouping of troops.

He recalled that after the informal summit of the CIS in St. Petersburg, he had a face-to-face meeting with the Russian president.

“In connection with the escalation on the western borders of the Union State, we agreed on the deployment of the regional grouping of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. This is all according to our documents. If the threat level reaches the current level, as it is now, we begin to engage Union State groups. The basis (I have always said this) of this group is the army, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus. I must inform you that the formation of this group has begun. It has been going for two days, I think. My order was given to start forming this group,” the Belarusian leader said.

He also said that he instructed the Ministry of Defense and the State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus to work out a possible set of measures to control the situation and respond to it.

“We have been preparing for this for more than a dozen years. If necessary, we will respond. God forbid, of course,” Lukashenko said.
