Hundreds of Swedes volunteers go to combat for Ukraine

Hundreds of Swedish military volunteers go to Ukraine. They will help our Army as military personnel.

The Swedish edition Svenska Daglabed reported about it.

The Swedes are interested to combat as part of the Ukrainian international brigade. The first Swedish volunteers went there on Thursday.

“They will be a part of the English-speaking group and will take part in the defense,” said the Swedish group’s coordinator.

Anders Östlund, a Swede living in Kyiv, writes that about 400 volunteers have already applied.

“About 400 Swedes have so far signed up to be volunteers in the Ukrainian Army. Not bad for a small country only a few days after the call for military volunteers went out. The Foreign Legion in Ukraine could become forceful,” Anders Östlund tweets.
