In the city of Pripyat Kyiv region nuclear power plant tactical-special exercises of units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine were held.

During the training, the tactics of conducting military operations in urbanized areas were worked out. The exercises were attended by the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the National Guard, the State Emergency Service, the National Police, ambassadors of foreign states and representatives of partner countries, “Ukrinform” writes.

According to the plan, the settlement Pripyat is on the contact line with the enemy. Units of the Armed Forces together with the National Guard completed combat missions for the defense of the city.

“In order to ensure the safety of citizens, prevent sabotage and transfer of the city under the control of the enemy, control of the movement of vehicles and citizens, units of the National Police carried out measures to block the settlement by putting up mobile checkpoints,” the National Guard of Ukraine reported.

After aerial reconnaissance and destruction by groups of snipers of the most important ‘enemy’ targets (crews of machine guns, mortars, ATGM, officers, observers, correctors and snipers of the enemy), the servicemen began the liberation of buildings from the ‘enemy’ forces and destroyed the sabotage and reconnaissanc group.

The actions of sniper groups, the elimination of the enemy checkpoint, demining of the territory, etc., was worked out.

During the training, they simulated the extinguishing of a fire as a result of an explosion, the evacuation of civilians, some of whom were allegedly disabled.

Also recently, units of of rocket-launching artillery of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have held field training exercises near the temporarily occupied Crimea peninsular.

The crew of the BM-27 Uragan multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) worked out deployment at firing positions and aiming at conventional enemy targets.

Field training exercises on coherence of crews took place in conditions as close as possible to combat.

The servicemen also demonstrated actions to directly cover the unit from the air threats with air defenses during a fire attack, as well as to cover it with a smoke screen while leaving the firing positions.
