In the Kyiv region, border guards have regained control of the Vilcha checkpoint

The State Border Guard Service has restored control over the Vilcha checkpoint at the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.

Militarnyi informs about it with reference to Serhiy Deyneko, Head of the SBGS.

The border guards are continuing to regain control of the state border in areas where the Ukrainian Defense Forces have expelled the Russian military.

The Vilcha checkpoint in the Kyiv region is located at the border with Belarus, which recently returned to the control of the Ukrainian border guards.

“As always, the orcs are acting like an invasion of locusts. The infrastructure was destroyed …,” Deineko said.

During the current activities, the danger of mines and shelling remains, so the border guards act extremely carefully.

In particular, yesterday, in the Chernihiv region, fire caused by the grenade launchers was recorded, and small arms were fired by the Russian military from its Pogar checkpoint.

For reference: Vilcha is a checkpoint within the state border of Ukraine at the border with Belarus.

The checkpoint is located in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone at the T 1035 highway.

On the Belarusian side, a checkpoint “Alexandrovka” is located at the P37 highway in the direction of Narovlya.

In addition to radiological, customs, and border control, the Vilcha checkpoint may carry out phytosanitary, environmental control, and control of the International Road Transport Service.
