In the Mykolaiv region, the Marines have inflicted losses on the Russians and took prisoners of war.

In the Mykolaiv region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted losses of manpower on the Russian military.

Soldiers of the 35th Naval Infantry Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mikhailo Ostrogradsky have worked against the Russian occupation forces.

“Some of them were lucky, some survived and were taken prisoner of war, and some will go home in a black plastic bag,” Ukrainian Marines said.

The Marines showcased the captured documents and means of communication of the Russian military.

The 35th Naval Infantry Brigade includes the 18th Separate Marine Battalion and the 137th Separate Marine Battalion.

Previously, in the Mykolaiv region, the enemy has intensified its military operations and is trying to resume attacks for the purpose of reaching the administrative borders of the Kherson region.

“In the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions, the enemy is continuing its activities to restore combat readiness, trying to replenish supplies and equip positions. Apparently, the enemy is intensifying hostilities and will try to resume the offensive operation to reach the administrative borders of the Kherson region. But our forces are preparing an appropriate response,” said the Operational Command “South” in their statement.

In the Mykolaiv region, on April 16, 39 people were wounded.

All the victims were taken to the hospital, where they are receiving the necessary assistance. In total, there are 302 people in the Mykolaiv hospitals who suffered from the invaders’ attacks.

Recently, the Ukrainian marines had struck the Russian T-72 tank in the Mykolaiv region.
