Marines captured Russian stormtroopers in Vovchansk

Soldiers of the 36th Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilynsky captured a group of Russian stormtroopers in the Kharkiv region.

This happened during a counterattack by Ukrainian marines in Vovchansk.

The military also showed a video of captured invaders.

“During a lightning counterattack by Marines in Vovchansk, our soldiers captured a group of Russian stormtroopers,” the press service of the 36th Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilynsky said.

The Marines emphasized that they were replenishing the exchange fund to bring back their comrades from Russian torture chambers.

The defenders also demonstrated documents and badges of captured Russian soldiers.

As previously reported, street battles are currently ongoing in the city of Vovchansk, Kharkiv region. The Ukrainian Defense Forces are repelling the assaults of the Russian invaders and counter attacking the invaders’ positions every day.

Previously, Ukrainian border guards captured a wounded Russian soldier who had been waiting for evacuation for 21 days.

The 34-year-old native of the Tver region crossed the border of the Kharkiv region with his unit on May 10 and participated in the battles for Vovchansk.

On May 12, the invader sustained a shrapnel wound during a Ukrainian drone attack, and the unit left him in a building in Vovchansk.

Also, soldiers of the 57th Motorized Brigade destroyed a Russian UR-77 Meteorite mine-clearing vehicle in the Kharkiv region.

The mine-clearing vehicle was hit by an FPV drone with a thermal imaging camera, which makes it possible to attack enemy equipment at night.
