Not one, but two Russian bombs fell on Belgorod
In Belgorod, Russia, a second bomb has been discovered near the site of the bomb drop by a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber on April 20.
It fell near residential buildings, but did not explode.
Now the Russians are trying to remove it from the ground and neutralize it.
It was decided to evacuate about 3,000 residents from 17 high-rise buildings within a radius of 200 m from the bomb location.
To do this, 90 buses were involved. People will be accommodated in temporary accommodation facilities.
According to the mass media of the aggressor country, they want to take the bomb out and neutralize it on the training ground.
Russian media claim that the second bomb was discovered in the area of house №15 on Shalandina Street, approximately 250 meters from the site of the first bomb explosion. Presumably, this is a 500-kilogram FAB-500 high-explosive bomb. It damaged the balconies of a high-rise building, falling just a few meters away. The bomb buried itself in the ground next to the foundation to a depth of several meters and did not explode.
As previously reported, on the evening of April 20, a large crater formed in the Russian Belgorod on one of the streets of the city. Surrounding buildings and several vehicles were damaged.
Initially, eyewitnesses reported hearing a hum over the city, which was similar to a jet flight.
Then local residents of the Russian city heard the sound of an explosion. After that, a 20-meter crater appeared on the street of one of the districts.
The incident happened at the intersection of Vatutina and Gubkina streets. As a result, several cars were damaged, one of them was thrown into the roof of the nearby store by a shock wave.
Subsequently, the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country stated that the cause of the destruction in Belgorod was established as the “off-duty descent of aviation ammunition” from the Russian Su-34 bomber.
