The Russian invasion forces lost Pion and Msta-S self-propelled artillery systems in various parts of the front line.

Photos of destroyed Russian artillery systems were published by the Telegram channel War in Ukraine. Loss of equipment.

These photos were taken by the Russian invaders themselves on the temporarily occupied territory.

In particular, the 2S7 Pion 203 mm self-propelled gun was probably destroyed in the Donetsk region.

According to the footage, the Russian artillery system was hit when it was in a stowed position.

This may indicate that the artillery system was struck by Ukrainian defenders when the Russian artillerymen were taking up a new firing position, or vice versa, were turning around and about to move to another location.

As a result of fire from the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the Russian Pion self-propelled gun was heavily damaged, leading to its destruction.

In July, the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit a Russian 2S7 Pion 203 mm self-propelled gun in the Belgorod region.

It should be noted that the Russian forces used the gun to shell the Kharkiv region. In addition, the gun had a prepared and well-camouflaged position.

In the Kharkiv region, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed a Russian 152 mm 2S19 Msta-S self-propelled howitzer at its firing position.

The photos of this self-propelled artillery system were taken in May this year by the invaders themselves.

Photos and videos show that the Russian Msta-S was completely burned out from the inside as a result of the Ukrainian strike. However, the surviving turret body indicates that the munition did not detonate. Probably, only the metal powder charges burned out. What happened to the crew of this Russian self-propelled artillery system is unknown.
