Satellite images of the territory of the oil depot of the Port Kavkaz, which on the night of May 31 was hit by Ukrainian Neptune missiles appeared.

The corresponding photos were published by the Scheme project.

Satellite images of Planet Labs for May 31 show the missile strikes aftermath. According to the images, part of the oil terminal located on the territory of the Port Kavkaz was damaged.

Images show that a fire occurred on the territory of the oil depot. Three tanks that were in the area of the fire were most likely damaged.

In addition, it is noticeable that wagons were removed from the base, and large vessels were removed from the port.

By cargo turnover, the Caucasus port is the fifth in the Russian Federation and the second in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov after Novorossiysk.

According to the Radio Liberty Krym.Realia project, the oil depot in the Port Kavkaz plays an important role in Russia’s supply of fuel to the occupied territories – Crimea, as well as certain areas of Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions.

As previously reported, the complex operation was carried out in coordination with other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

It is also reported that attack UAVs of the Defense Forces had hit another oil depot in the Krasnodar Krai.

Recently, Militarnyi said that the Ukrainian Defense Forces had successfully hit a Russian ferry crossing in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

As a result of the damage, two ferries that carried out rail and road transportation suffered significant damage.

One of them ran aground, which blocked the functioning of the entire Kerch crossing.
