The Ukrainian servicemen are actively using foreign equipment and various weapons in resisting the full-scale Russian invasion.

The Command of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces reported that paratroopers are actively and effectively using British Wolfhound armored vehicles.

British armored vehicles are assisting Ukrainian soldiers in liberating their homeland from the invaders. Vehicles are engaged in military operations in the Kherson region.

Wolfhound armored vehicles were delivered to the Ukrainian military through the program of international military aid to successfully repel Russian military aggression.

The paratroopers note that this equipment is used to transport ammunition, transport and evacuate personnel, and conduct fire support on the battlefield or in reconnaissance operations.

“Three bridges provide extremely high traffic, and the strong capsule with cumulative armor offers the reliable protection of the crew and cargo,” emphasized the soldiers of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces.

“And the traditional quality of British equipment ensures its reliable operation during the liberation of our land from the Russian invaders. This is confirmed by the Ukrainian paratroopers during their combat operations in the Kherson region,” the paratroopers noted.

Wolfhound is a heavy armored truck. It is used to accompany patrols and transport ammunition and necessary cargo.

These armored vehicles are usually armed with a 7.62 or 12.7 mm machine gun in a rotating turret on the roof of the passenger cabin in the central part of the armored vehicle.

In Ukraine, these trucks are armed with the 12.7-mm Browning M2 large-caliber machine guns.

These armored vehicles are designed to transport cargo and personnel in the combat zone.

As previously reported, Ukrainian defenders are already undergoing training in the UK, learning how to use the armored vehicles that would be delivered to Ukraine. The 120 armored vehicles to be delivered include 80 Mastiff, Husky, and Wolfhound protected mobility vehicles.
