Stugna and Bratstvo special units operators conducted an operation in Crimea
Ukrainian special forces conducted an operation on the territory of the Crimean peninsula.
The Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that special forces from Stugna and Bratstvo participated in the operation as part of the Tymur special units.
“They landed on the territory of the Crimean peninsula and inflicted fire on the Moscow invaders,” the Defense Intelligence said.
The soldiers used jet skis to land and swim to the coast.
At the same time, Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Defence Intelligence, said that Ukrainian special forces suffered losses during the operation.
“There was a battle with the Russian invaders, there are many dead and wounded among the invaders’ personnel. Unfortunately, there are losses among Ukrainian defenders, which are still not comparable to the Russian ones,” Andrii Yusov said.
He also added that the special operation took place in the recent days.
“The special forces completed their task and withdrew,” Yusov added.
The Bratstvo Battalion that participated in the operation has long been involved in sabotage operations in the Russian rear.
Ukrainian writer and public figure Dmytro Korchynsky founded the battalion.
The Stugna combat unit was formed in 2022 from volunteers.
In September of this year, the unit’s soldiers were involved in an operation to return the so-called Boyko towers in the Black Sea under Ukrainian control.
