Soldiers of the 79th Air Assault Brigade destroyed an enemy platoon with ammunition from a drone before the battle began.

The brigade’s press service published the video.

The video captures the 79th Brigade’s converted to drop ammunition drones dropping ammunition on the remains of enemy personnel.

The brigade’s press service notes that the Russian troops were defeated 2 hours before the battle began.

Upon detection, the artillery delivered a devastating strike to the enemy, causing the remaining infantry to seek shelter in shell craters.

Finally, the 79th Brigade’s drones started dropping ammunition on the enemy’s remnants, killing 29 Russian soldiers.

The destruction of the Russian platoon took place near Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region.

The brigade’s units repelled a large number of enemy assaults aimed at capturing the settlement of Novomykhailivka.

Militarnyi previously reported that the paratroopers of the 79th Separate Tavrian Air Assault Brigade of Mykolaiv have demonstrated another successful repulse of the Russians’ failed assault on Novomykhailivka.

The Russian vehicles first exploded on mines, and the rest were finished off by soldiers and drones with ammunition.

The destroyed vehicles included tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, including BMP-1AM Basurmanin and ersatz armored personnel carriers based on the MT-LB tracked tractor.
