The settlement of Bohorodychne in the Donetsk region was recently liberated by the soldiers of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Ukrainian paratroopers showed the ruins left by the Russian invaders at the village site.

The Ukrainian Air Assault Forces Command released the video.

“A ghost village. The houses are ruined, the roads are riddled with huge craters, and the belongings of the Russian invaders are scattered everywhere,” the servicemen said.

This Donetsk region settlement was recently liberated from the invaders.

“For a long time, there have been fierce battles in the area of this village… but our troops liberated it!” the statement reads.

The Russian invaders resided in a monastery on the territory of the village for a long time.

The enemy struck the church premises after the Ukrainian defenders had taken control of the village of Bohorodychne and freed it from the invaders.

The liberation of the settlement was reported on September 12. Then, the Ukrainian military raised the National Flag of Ukraine in the village of Bohorodychne, Donetsk region.

The village was liberated as a result of a successful counteroffensive operation by the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other units of the defense forces in the Kharkiv direction.

Yesterday, Ukrainian forces established full control over the city of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region.

Serhiy Haidai, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, announced the completion of the sweep of this settlement.
