The Belarusian military commissioned the Iskander SRBM.

The Ministry of Defense of the country reported this.

It also published photos of the systems in service with the Belarusian military.

It is noted that previously, the personnel was trained in Russia. They started practical exercises at training grounds in Belarus after completing the theoretical course.

“The Republic of Belarus now has a sufficient supply of missiles to the system, which allows performing any task at a range of up to 500 km,” said Ruslan Chekhov, Head of the Missile Forces and Artillery Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus.

The information published by the Ministry of Defense of Belarus includes the Iskander-M and Iskander-K systems.

The number of these weapons received by Belarus is unspecified.

In mid-December last year, the self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko claimed that the Belarusian military has already put the Russian S-400 anti-aircraft system and Iskander short-range ballistic missile on combat duty.
