The Russians claim that their military base in Perevalsk was fired with HIMARS
The Russian invaders demonstrated the wreckage of the missile, which, according to them, was found at the site of the attack on a military base in the occupied part of the Luhansk region.
Radio Svoboda reported about this.
An illegal armed group called “Luhansk Peopleʼs Republic” released photos of the wreckage of a missile that allegedly hit a military base in the temporarily occupied city of Perevalsk on Tuesday morning.
The so-called LPR authorities claim that the photos show the wreckage of a missile fired with the M142 HIMARS high mobility artillery rocket system.

According to Radio Svoboda, independent experts believe that the published photos do show fragments of an M31A1 missile with a high-explosive unitary fragmentation warhead used in HIMARS systems.

It is also noted that in the photos, one can observe the inscription “Made in USA”, as well as the logo of AeroAntenna Technology, the components of which, apparently, are responsible for accurate aiming at GPS coordinates.

In addition, one fragment contains the number W31P4Q, which is mentioned in open sources in connection with the contract for the development by Lockheed Martin of the M270 MRLS rocket system (it uses similar ammunition as HIMARS).
As a result of the attack on Perevalsk, according to the Russian invaders and as Radio Svoboda managed to confirm, a military base located in front of the local mechanical repair plant was hit.
As previously reported, in temporarily occupied Perevalsk, the explosions on the Russian Federation invasion forces base were recorded.
The explosion at a Russian military facility was reported on Tuesday, June 28, at about 10 am.
Eyewitnesses reported that the explosions took place at the site of the Russian invasion forces in the Luhansk region.
Reports claim a large number of the Russian invasion forces wounded personnel.
