The U.S. has lifted some restrictions on sharing intelligence with Ukraine.

Bloomberg informs about this, citing its own sources.

This has been done so that the Ukrainian servicemen could receive the most up-to-date information about the situation not only from the locations of active hostilities but also about the previously occupied territory.

According to the source, Avril Haines, Director of National Intelligence has shared this decision with Congress.

The expanded sharing is intended to help Ukraine defend and potentially reclaim its territory in those regions, the publication said.

The U.S. has already been intensely sharing timely intelligence with the Ukrainians, but as the conflict has evolved, intelligence agencies have adjusted their intelligence-sharing guidelines.

Previously, the Russians “adjusted” the purpose of their actions in Ukraine and declared their intention to occupy the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as the south of Ukraine, and secure the ground “corridor to Crimea”.

Currently, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that the invaders are increasing the pace of the offensive operation. The highest activity of the enemy is observed in Slobozhanske and Donetsk directions.
