Bayraktar drones for which the Serhiy Prytula Fund had raised funds were painted as vyshyvankas (national Ukrainian embroidery).

They were also marked with the inscription “People’s Bayraktar”.

Serhiy Prytula announced this on his Facebook page.

“Our Turkish friends gave us a nice present for Independence Day and “embroided” Bayraktars as vyshyvankas! They kept their word and identified these drones as “People’s Bayraktar”!”, he wrote.

In addition, it was agreed that the videos taken by these drones during the execution of tasks will also be labeled as “People’s Bayraktar”.

The drones are currently being prepared for shipment to Ukraine.

“These birds will soon fly to Ukraine and will help free our land from invaders!!!”, Serhiy Prytula added.

On June 22 at 9 a.m., Serhiy Prytula and blogger Ihor Lachenkov announced the fundraising for three Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 UAVs, for Ukrainian soldiers who are fighting against the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation.

Initially it was planned to raise 500 million UAH within a week. But Ukrainians managed to collect more – 600 million hryvnia. At the same time, instead of the declared seven days, the fundraising took three days.

On June 27, the Baykar company announced that it would donate three Bayraktar TB2s to Ukraine free of charge.

“Business leaders and ordinary people alike contributed funds – small and large – to reach this milestone within a matter of a few days’ time. Baykar will not accept payment for the TB2s and will send 3 UAVs free of charge to the Ukrainian war front. Instead, we ask that raised funds be remitted instead to struggling the people of Ukraine. We are touched by this solidarity and resolve in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges,” the company said in a statement.

ICEYE satellite

On August 18, Serhiy Prytula reported that the ICEYE satellite was purchased for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the funds collected for the Bayraktar UAV.

The agreement on the purchase of the satellite and access to the data of the satellite constellation of the ICEYE provides for Ukraine to receive ownership of the satellite and access to the database.

The satellite flies over the territory of Ukraine twice a day, and the photos taken by it will be received solely by the Ukrainian side.

When the device is not flying over the territory of Ukraine, it is possible to access the ICEYE SAR satellite constellation. This will ensure the continuous data acquisition.
