Ukraine uses special software to control weapons provided by partners

Ukraine uses logistics software, due to which each sample of weapons transferred by partners is under control.

The software is used in cooperation with the United States and the United Kingdom, according to information provided to the Ukrinform news agency by Serhii Omelchenko, adviser to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council provided to Ukrinform.

“Ukraine, together with the United States and the United Kingdom, uses logistics software that captures every sample of weapons that comes in. The channels that receive weapons, the place where they are supplied, where they are stored and where they are used are controlled,” Omelchenko said.

He also added that the European Union is creating an independent control mechanism.

At the same time Ukraine itself also monitors all types of weapons and ammunition.

Serhii Omelchenko also added that information, in particular from the Russian side, about the alleged sales of Western weapons is a special operation against Ukraine.

“This is not the first time they are selling this story, but there has not yet been confirmation of this information, and it is always refuted,” said Omelchenko.

The day before it became known that the U.S. Defense Criminal Investigative Service (DCIS) would strengthen supervision of contracts that accept an accelerated procedure in favor of Ukraine.

DCIS focuses on contracting and potentially redirecting American aid to the “black market.” The service coordinates its activities with the State Department and other law enforcement agencies.

While the Pentagon and the State Department have said they have found no evidence of improper use of weapons in Ukraine, both agencies are seeking to strengthen security.

It’s worth noting that the Pentagon also added that the United States and partners stressed the efficiency of the use of the weapons provided to Ukraine.

And due to the received means, the Defense Forces of Ukraine keep the defense and repel previously occupied territories.
