In April, the Come Back Alive Foundation transferred more than thirty new pickup trucks to brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Come Back Alive Foundation reported on this on its official Facebook page.

The transfer of these vehicles is a significant contribution to the mobility, safety, and effectiveness of Ukrainian defenders.

The military received 31 brand new Mitsubishi L200 and Peugeot Landtrek pickup trucks. The Come Back Alive Foundation spent UAH 𝟐𝟕 𝟗𝟖𝟒 𝟗𝟒𝟑,𝟐𝟐 on this purchase.

Thanks to donations, the following units received new vehicles in April:

  • 24th Mechanized Brigade “Daniel of Galicia”;
  • 80th Air Assault Brigade;
  • 59th Separate Motorized Brigade “Yakiv Handziuk”;
  • 101st Brigade for the Protection of the General Staff named after Colonel-General Henadii Vorobiov;
  • 53rd Mechanized Brigade named after Volodymyr Monomakh.

“Four-wheel drive pickup trucks will be able to go where the enemy does not expect them to. Due to the pickup trucks, it is possible to quickly transfer units, bring the most necessary supplies to the battlefield, or evacuate the wounded,” the Foundation noted.

The pickup trucks provide Ukrainian defenders with mobility, maneuverability, logistics support and save lives.

The Come Back Alive Foundation emphasized that reliable vehicles are one of the most common requests from the military.

Earlier in April, the Come Back Alive Foundation, together with the Ukrnafta company, transferred a large batch of Peugeot pickup trucks to the Air Defense Forces.

The new vehicles had been delivered to soldiers of an anti-aircraft machine gun battalion. This air defense battalion covers Ukrainian skies in the northeast.

The Peugeot pickup trucks are designed to help the military quickly arrive at any point in the direction of movement of Russian drones or cruise missiles.

The vehicles are to be equipped with destruction and detection equipment that will help shoot down Russian air targets at low altitudes.
