A SAM missile landed in the Brest region of Belarus. The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus claims it to be Ukrainian
A missile landed near the village of Horbacha in the Brest region.
It was discovered in a field in the Ivanovo district.
The incident happened during a massive Russian missile attack on Ukraine.
The Belarusian Hayun monitoring group reports that the released photos captured the wreckage of the S-300 missile.
The Ministry of Defense of Belarus claims that the missile of the S-300 surface-to-air missile system belongs to Ukraine.
“Today at approximately 10:00 am, an air target was destroyed by the air defense forces. Its wreckage was discovered at the agricultural field near the village of Horbacha, Ivanivka district, Brest region,” the statement reads.
Details were promised to be provided later.
Previously, two versions of the reason for the fall of the missile were speculated – it either could have flown into the territory of Belarus, as was the case earlier in Poland, or it could have been shot down by the Belarusian air defense system.
