The Come Back Alive Foundation together with students have purchased and handed over to the Ukrainian military 5 RK-3 Corsar ATGM simulators.

This was reported on Monday on social media of the Competent Army Assistance Fund.

The simulators have been provided by the largest training centers of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in which the corresponding training of the military is carried out.

The cost of each of the five transferred simulators of the Corsair anti-tank missile systems is 1,350,000 UAH. The funds for the first ones were raised by students of 15 Kyiv universities.

They united within the framework of a joint project for Student Day back in 2022 and collected more than 1.4 million UAH for the purchase.

The Come Back Alive Foundation specialists decided to purchase 4 more simulators for funds from the general accounts of the fund.

The acquired simulators will make it possible for the ATGM operator to undergo full-fledged training, obtaining practical skills to destroy enemy armored vehicles and helicopters in safe, but as realistic conditions as possible.

The Come Back Alive Foundation emphasizes that the military, having an unlimited number of shots, will be able to practice shooting from different distances and in different weather conditions.

About the plans to purchase simulators for Corsar ATGM for the funds collected by students, Militarnyi reported in November last year.

The simulator fully repeats the appearance of the ATGM and the characteristics of its operation. It consists of a tripod, a combat module, as well as an optical part and a simulation device with software. The simulator uses a display mounted in a monocular sight.

The software makes it possible to simulate different conditions for the use of Corsar ATGM – from climatic to terrain. In addition, the device can simulate probable malfunctions during operating.

According to the instructors, with the help of the simulator, the military needs only 5-6 training circles to already hit targets from the Corsar ATGM with 100% accuracy at the training ground.
