The artillery of the 3rd Assault Brigade of Armed Forces of Ukraine hit Russian invaders during their attempt to move at night.

The press service of the 3rd Assault Brigade reported on this.

Invaders were attacked in the Avdiivka sector when they were moving through a forest belt.

The military said that they had used a reconnaissance drone to detect the movement of Russian infantry at night in one of the forest belts in the Donetsk region.

Then, using UAVs, Ukrainian defenders adjusted artillery fire on the concentration of invaders’ manpower.

The combat mission to destroy the enemy was carried out by the soldiers of the 1st Self-propelled Artillery Battalion of the 3rd Assault Brigade.

Ukrainian soldiers densely covered a forest plantation near Avdiivka with artillery fire, where the enemy was moving.

For this purpose, they used mostly cluster munitions, which are more effective in destroying infantry, unlike high-explosive rounds.

The video shows the movement of enemy infantry and its subsequent defeat. Numerous explosions of submunitions were recorded.

Recently, the artillery of Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed two BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers in the east of the country.

The defeat of the Russian Grad M-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers was due to the joint work of the K-2 battalion of the 54th Mechanized Brigade of Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Rubizh Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard in cooperation with the Ukrainian artillery.

Detection and adjustment of fire were carried out, in particular, with the help of reconnaissance drones of Ukrainian volunteers.
