Dnipro Defense Headquarters purchased TRM2000 trucks and Peugeot P4 SUVs

The Dnipro Defense Headquarters purchased additional 60 trucks and SUVs for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The mayor of Dnipro, Borys Filatov, announced that their transfer to the front line had already begun.

Trucks and SUVs for the needs of the Armed Forces were brought from military depots in Europe.

In particular, the benefactors purchased Renault TRM2000 military trucks.

Hennadiy Korban, the Head of the Dnipro Defense Staff, said that they will be handed over to the following units: “58th Battalion, 92nd Brigade, 93rd Brigade, 17th Tank Brigade, 59th Battalion, 54th Brigade, Joint Task Forces Khortysia”.

“From the first days of the war, I’ve been writing and speaking about that the army should be mobile. And for this you need pickups and trucks. And that’s why the Dnipro Defense Headquarters systematically began to solve issues related to the purchase of cars and problems related to logistics,” Korban noted.

The headquarters continues to process applications from defenders of Ukraine.

“We did it. We did it all. Each of us. The guys from ATB-Market who transferred millions and simple Dnipro residents who tore away the last hryvnia from themselves. Hennadiy Korban, who conceived and implemented this logistically and financially complex operation, and Mykhailo Lysenko, who selected each car with his own hands. Ihor Makovtsev, who delivered them thousands of kilometers away,” Filatov added.

French Peugeot P4 tactical off-road vehicles were also purchased for the needs of the military.

This model was produced exclusively for law enforcement agencies and state services.

Externally, the French Peugeot P4 tactical off-road vehicle off-road is very similar to the Mercedes-Benz G-class, and it is not surprising: it was produced under license by the Austrian firm Steyr-Daimler Puch AG.

A total of 13,500 vehicles were produced from 1982 to 1992.
