The “EYE FOR AN EYE” charity project allowed to transfer the additional SHARK unmanned aircraft systems to the front line and replace the lost drones.

The Come Back Alive Foundation reported that they had recently handed over three SHARK unmanned aircraft systems.

The number of already transferred systems has reached 14. They were purchased with funds raised by donors together with the OKKO gas stations network.

Each of the systems includes two drones with modern video cameras, capable of tracking targets even at an object speed of 100 km/h.

The system also includes a catapult launcher, a ground control station with a navigation system, and workplaces for pilots, integrated into a Torsus Terrastorm four-wheel drive minibus.

The last three systems were transferred to:

– 44th Artillery Brigade;
– 190th Training Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
– classified intelligence unit of the Defense Forces, which operates in the south of Ukraine.

The plans of the “EYE FOR AN EYE” charity project assume the transfer of 11 more SHARK unmanned aircraft systems, which the Foundation has already purchased for the military.

Replacement of losses

The drone is easy to lose in battle. To make sure that the military does not have to wait for the production of new equipment, the Come Back Alive Foundation, together with the OKKO gas stations network, purchased additional 25 aircraft.

“The aircraft can survive from one flight to months of active service. At the same time, the ground control station, catapult launcher, and set of protective equipment — most of the cost of the system — remain and continue to work. Only the aircraft would need to be restocked,” Taras Chmut, Director of the Come Back Alive Foundation, commented.

The first ten drones have already been shipped, and the first of them have already been handed over to the troops to compensate for the losses and continue working on the front line.

Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation is also providing these unmanned aircraft systems to the military. Last October, donors contracted two unmanned aircraft systems.

In April, the Ukrainian company Ukrspecsystems presented its new MiniShark UAV.
