Militarnyi reported on it.

Militarnyi previously reported that Russia was recruiting people to join the Russian army abroad.

Recruitment takes place in countries such as: India, Nepal, Cuba, Somalia, Syria, and other countries with low living standards.

Representatives of certain states, whose citizens were recruited by Russia, demand their return to their homeland and the cessation of such activities on their territory.

The government of Kathmandu has issued a statement demanding that Moscow would not recruit its citizens into the Russian military and return the bodies of six soldiers killed in Ukraine. The Nepalese Foreign Ministry also calls on Russia to pay compensation to the families of the victims.

According to Milan Raj Tuladhar, Nepal’s Ambassador in Moscow, 150-200 Nepalis were working as mercenaries in the Russian army.

Law enforcement officials in Nepal have detained ten people on suspicion of illegally recruiting residents of the country into the Russian army.

According to Range Chief, Senior Superintendent of Police Bhupendra Khatri, the detainees illegally took up to $9,000 from each person and sent them to Russia on “tourist visas,” mainly through the UAE.

Dejan Beric, a Serbian mercenary who serves in the Russian invasion military, reported on social media that he was “treated like cattle.” According to Beric, the command of the 119th Guards Airborne Regiment in Ryazan has repeatedly displayed chauvinism and outright racism towards Serbs, calling them “gypsies,” asking why they came and were refusing medical care.

Previously, soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine captured a Russian mercenary from Sierra Leone in the area of Marinka. It is not reported which unit of the Russian army the mercenary was in or under what circumstances he was captured.
