Kharkiv Region: more than 30 settlements have been liberated or taken under control

In the course of counteroffensive actions, the Ukrainian military is liberating the Kharkiv Region from Russian invaders.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Overall, according to the military, more than a thousand square kilometers of Ukrainian territory have been liberated from the invaders in recent days.

In certain directions, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine wedged into the enemy’s defense to a depth of 50 km. The military is also capturing a large amount of enemy equipment.

“More than thirty settlements that had been temporarily captured by Russian invaders in the Kharkiv Region were liberated or taken under control,” the General Staff notes.

In the liberated territories, de-occupied communities are returning to life. Demining of the area is underway.

Units of the National Guard of Ukraine carry out stabilization measures. The work of the National Police was resumed. Law enforcement officers record numerous crimes of Russians on Ukrainian soil.

To counteract the Ukrainian offensive, the invasion forces of the Russian Federation are forced to transfer units of the 3rd Army Corps to the Kharkiv Region.

Russian propaganda media published footage with a column of military equipment moving to reinforce the invaders in the Kharkiv Region.

Only light armored vehicles, engineering vehicles, trucks with personnel and towed howitzers were seen in the convoy.

The representative of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andrii Yusov, on the air of the national telethon said that the video of the convoy of equipment in the allegedly Kharkov direction, released yesterday by the Russian Ministry of Defense, is a common information campaign of the Russian Federation against the backdrop of the Armed Forces counteroffensive.

He added that this is most likely just a demonstration of “support” for the Russian citizens.
