More than 30 settlements liberated in the Kyiv region – Zelensky

Since the beginning of russia’s war on Ukraine, the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been able to liberate more than 30 settlements in the Kyiv region that became temporarily occupied.

The President informed about this in his video statement.

“During the defense of Kyiv, more than 30 settlements in the Kyiv region, which the enemy temporarily occupied, were liberated.”

According to the President, since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion, Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, has been leading the defense of Kyiv.

Zelensky added that thanks to Syrsky’s professional and courageous actions, the enemy suffered significant losses and was driven out of the Ukrainian capital.

The President added that he awarded Oleksandr Syrskyy with the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, second class.
