The Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation received a new batch of Su-35S and Su-57 modern fighter jets.

This was reported on the official website of the Russian government.

A new batch of Su-35S and Su-57 modern fighter jets was produced at the enterprises of the United Aircraft Corporation, where they passed factory tests, and were declared ready for service in combat units.

The aircraft went through a full cycle of tests, confirmed their compliance with the declared characteristics, and demonstrated the appropriate reliability and operability of the systems.

The Air Force of the Russian Federation will receive another batch of Su-35S and Su-57 aircraft by the end of 2023.

The Russian Aerospace Forces received a batch of Su-57 aircraft as part of the implementation plan of the state defense order this year. Other fifth-generation jets, scheduled for delivery this year, are in the final assembly plant and are being practiced at the flight test station, as declared by Yury Slyusar, CEO of the United Aircraft Corporation

Slyusar also noted that this is the third batch of Su-35S fighter jets transferred to the Russian Aerospace Forces this year.

In addition to previously ordered aircraft, in 2023, the United Aircraft Corporation received new contracts to produce fighters and bombers for the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The contract for the production of tactical aviation is associated with the 2023 establishment of two new intersectoral task forces of the armed forces in the Russian Federation: the Moscow and Leningrad military districts.

Militarnyi previously reported that the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation received an А-50U airborne early warning and control aircraft.

The aircraft underwent a full range of modernization of on-board equipment, along with a radar, to better perform detection and targeting tasks.

The upgraded board received new electronics, new large LCD monitors, and improved ergonomics to reduce crew fatigue. А-50U was also equipped with a new aircraft instrumentation.

The corporation is currently working on the global modernization of the Vega-M radar to improve the ability to detect small targets, increase the detection range, and more objects for tracking.
