Defense Forces have seized Russia’s SNAR-10M1 mobile radar reconnaissance ground station.

Militarnyi informs about it.

In the Kyiv region, Ukrainian forces have captured the ground reconnaissance radar station on the MT-LB crawler chassis, designed to discover mobile ground targets including columns of various equipment and manpower, as well as air targets at low altitudes.

It is stated that the SNAR-10M1 vehicle has the equipment that allows you to monitor the situation in a particular sector, receive and process data, and transmit information about the identified targets to the command post.

Depending on the distance, SNAR-10M1 radar allows you to detect equipment, enemy manpower, and ruptures of artillery shells.

The station can detect tanks at ranges of up to 35 to 40 km.

It has an internal and external communication system that allows for the automated transmission of received data and is equipped with satellite navigation.

The autonomous operation of the complex is possible for at least three days. The vehicle crew consists of four people.

Previously, the Ukrainian Special Forces captured a launcher from the Russian Buk anti-aircraft missile system.

A group of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine, together with fighters from the Defense forces, came across Russian equipment.

Russian storage containing ammunition, weapons, and equipment was found nearby the abandoned launcher.
