The Ukrainian military demonstrated combat use of the Dana wheeled self-propelled artillery system.

The 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released a video with this self-propelled gun.

The footage portrayed the process of moving artillery installation by roads and preparing for a fire mission to strike on Russian invaders in different areas of ordinary terrain at different times of the year.

It is currently unknown whether these artillery systems were sent to Ukraine as military assistance from the countries in which they had previously been in service, or they were purchased.

In the spring it was reported that the Czech Republic had sent to Ukraine Vampire MLRS and Dana ACS. Their first images appeared in early May. Subsequently, a better video was published on which firing from self-propelled guns was showcased.

Vz. 77 Dana self-propelled artillery system was developed in the late 70s in the former Czechoslovakia, mass production was established at ZTS Dubnica in the city of Trenčin, Slovakia.

In addition to Czechoslovakia, they were operated by other Warsaw Pact countries, such as Poland and the USSR, in the latter they were acquired for testing, but after the collapse they were disposed of.

In Poland, they are still in service with artillery units.
