Ukrainian brigades received Bulgarian-made MG-1М machine guns from benefactors with guidance.

The MG-1М machine guns were acquired by the Come Back Alive Foundation.

The Fund transferred new machine guns and cartridges to air assault, marine, mechanized and tank brigades.

In the Air Assault Forces, the 81st Airmobile Brigade received the MG-1М.

“The detachments of the brigade have received brand new 7.62mm machine guns from the Foundation, some of which are already performing combat missions to destroy the enemy,” the brigade representatives said.

Soldiers of the 59th Motorized Brigade, named after Yakov Handzyuk, received 30 machine guns.

The Come Back Alive Foundation acquired and transferred these machine guns to the 37th Marine Brigade and 505th Marine Battalion.

New machine guns were also transferred to the 56th Motorized Brigade, the 24th Mechanized Brigade, and the 17th Kryvyi Rih Tank Brigade. In total, the 21st Combat Brigade received new 7.62mm light machine guns. In addition, nine reserve units received small arms.

The 93rd Mechanized Brigade, “Kholodnyi Yar,” representatives stated they also received these machine guns that will serve them in Bakhmut.

“Our infantrymen have already begun to receive machine guns in depots and destroy invasion troops in Bakhmut. After all, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Command of the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine distributed weapons in the most critical directions. Namely, this is Bakhmut – a hellish section of the frontline, where the 93rd Brigade fights, and where new weapons are especially needed. Grateful to the foundation for competent help,” the Brigade said.
