The Come Back Alive Foundation has transferred the domestic Sych unmanned reconnaissance aerial system to the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

This was reported by the press service of the charitable foundation.

These drones will transmit the coordinates of enemy targets for Ukrainian long-range weapon systems.

The Sych long-range UAV is able to conduct reconnaissance in the deep rear of the invaders, covering a distance of up to 200 kilometers, providing high-quality photography.

“It conducts detailed reconnaissance, efficiently shoots enemy objects, in particular on the territory of Russia, and transfers the coordinates of targets for long-range Ukrainian weapon systems,” the Come Back Alive Foundation writes about the drone.

The system was purchased for UAH 1,950,000 and transferred to DIU specialists.

The charity notes that the Sych unmanned aerial system is one of the best in its niche.

The Sych UAV consists of the following components:

  • two reconnaissance drones;
  • catapults;
  • mobile control post.

However, information about the Ukrainian manufacturer is not disclosed for security reasons.

Accurate information about the characteristics of the domestic drone has not yet been released.

Due to the new long-range reconnaissance system, the Defense Forces of Ukraine will be able to significantly increase their air reconnaissance capabilities and identify important targets in the rear of the Russian invaders.

The Come Back Alive Foundation has already handed over one Sych system to the Ukrainian military earlier this year.
