UWC acquires armored vehicles and equipment for Ukrainian Territorial Defense Forces
The Ukrainian World Congress purchased tracked armored vehicles and automotive equipment for the Territorial Defense Forces.

The donors purchased 15 British tracked armored vehicles, including 13 FV432 armored personnel carriers, 1 CVRT Stormer, and 1 CVRT Shielder.
In addition, the organization also donated two MT-LBU tracked armored personnel carriers and ten refurbished Soviet GAZ-66 trucks.
The total cost of the 27 vehicles purchased for the military is UAH 68 million. People from all across the world helped to raise the funds.
During the ceremonial handover, it was announced that all the armored personnel carriers would be additionally equipped with night vision devices by a Ukrainian manufacturer, after which they would be sent to the front line.
“So far, we have received 25 armored tracked vehicles from the World Congress of Ukrainians, and today we received another 15. So we have 40 armored personnel carriers in total.
These vehicles will be used to move personnel to the front line, deliver cargo, transport the wounded, and ensure their reliable protection during the movement,” said Major General Ihor Tantsiura, Commander of the Territorial Defense Forces.
Earlier this year, the Ukrainian World Congress also purchased armored vehicles for the Defense Forces, namely 25 British FV103 Spartan and FV432 armored vehicles.
In addition, in January 2023, these armored vehicles were also transferred as part of military assistance by the UK government.
