Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are mastering BvS 10 all-terrain armored vehicles

Ukrainian military personnel is mastering Bandvagn BvS 10 armored all-terrain vehicles abroad.

The Royal Netherlands Navy reported this.

They published a video featuring individual elements of the training of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Dutch marines are training the Ukrainian military to use all-terrain vehicles.

Together with other partners, the Netherlands continues supporting Ukraine by providing military and humanitarian aid.

During the training, Ukrainian military personnel are provided with skills in driving and operating Bandvagn BvS 10 armored all-terrain vehicles. The crews also learn the tactics of using these vehicles on the battlefield.

For security reasons, the published video disguised the faces of the Ukrainian military. The location of where the exercises were held is also not disclosed.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces previously started using Bandvagn 206S and BvS 10 all-terrain vehicles.

The Bandvagn BvS10 tracked articulated amphibious all-terrain armored vehicle is based on an articulated steering system with a double cab, typical of Hägglunds all-terrain vehicles.

The vehicle is equipped with a Cummins 5.9-liter diesel engine and improved ground clearance, transmission, and steering compared to older models, which provide a speed of up to 65 km/h on the road and comfort when traveling on and off-road.

The all-terrain vehicle has a payload capacity of up to 5 tons and the ability to add various modular subsystems such as additional armor, weapon mounts, and cargo platforms. The all-terrain vehicle was designed to work in arctic, desert, or jungle conditions. Vehicles, in particular, are used to transport troops.

The roof of the BvS10 cabin for the front vehicle is fitted with a ring mount for a 12.7 mm caliber Browning heavy machine gun, a 7.62 mm caliber general-purpose machine gun, or a 40 mm automatic grenade launcher.
